Artist's Comments

I decided to take this sketch to finish in an attempt to use a new painting technique. It didn't completely work, but in doing this and one other piece I'm learning how to employ this new technique. Expect more from this new and amazing technique I learned from Brian Stelfreeze! Check out the coolness of Brian here: [link] The Lucile Ball he painted is the piece he demoed when I was taking the watercolor workshop with him. Purdy hawt!

Made with marker, acrylic, and watercolor.

Ah yes, the rough-and-tumble tomboy of the group. Gotta love Mako, she was my third favorite, right behind Ami and Rei. =D

I've been to one of Brian's demos at A-kon , and it was a concentrated blend of fun and learning. He was doing an acrylic wash piece , I think it was the Batgirl painting from a series of covers he did for DC in the past. It was great because the crowd was small enough that those of us who had questions could talk with him easily , and Brian was cool because his energy seemed to thrive on the back- and -forth in the room. Watercolor rocks.

oh wow. hmm well it looks good anyway, it has a glow to it, which i think is nice since jupiter had the electric powers. what does the technique entail?
